getting recruited
Let me guess … you want a job, and you’ve just heard the word ”no” from a recruiter or company … again.
Here’s the good news … this can be fixed.
But to fix it, you first have to understand that the reason you are hearing “no” has less about ”market conditions” than you think. And much more about your communication than you might like to acknowledge. You probably have excellent communication skills at an informational level (like everyone else). But not an influencing level. And that’s why you are hearing “no”. That’s people people who can communicate more influentially than you are hearing “yes”.
At this point you are probably feeling one of two things. Either you’ll be feeling defensive. Or you are nodding your head recognizing this to be true – much as it might hurt. If you are the second sort of person, then read on (And kudos to you for being honest with yourself to a degree that few ever get).
There is nothing wrong with you. It is because you haven’t (yet) learnt to be succinct enough, polished enough, and engaging enough.
Most people are too polite to tell you this. That’s because they don’t want to hurt your feelings. Unfortunately most people as a result go through lifetime of underachievement – getting rejections from recruiters, prospective employers and more – because they don’t have the ability to communicate in a way that is succinct, polished and engaging.
If you are happy with the results you are getting, there is no need to take any further action. But if you want to get this area of your life that’s currently holding you back sorted – I mean truly sorted – then you’ll want to get in touch with me.
Can I be blunt? If you think about taking action, but don’t get in contact with me … nothing will change.
Our results are very close to 100% – provided that you committed to getting honest with yourself.
We do not teach “theory” – we put people into accelerated learning environments where your communication changes before your eyes – within a space of time that will surprise you. Some of the fixes to problems that are causing you to make weak impressions rather than influential impressions are as quick as 15 minutes.
Like Einstein said – and he was a pretty bright guy - doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of stupidity.
If you are tired of hearing “no” and you think it’s time to learn a new approach and get a different result - send me a note and we’ll have a chat about what can be done.
